The questions everyone asks
Is this just a trailer?
No — and the difference is legal, not cosmetic. A mobile home is built to HUD minimums: in most of the country that's a 70 mph wind rating. The Meg One is designed above the toughest codes in America, and the Foundation Series is certified as a modular home — the same building code as a site-built house. It appraises like a house, finances like a house, and is insured like a house.
Can I build it myself?
The frame is designed for it — bolted connections, numbered members, no field welding. You (or your local GC) pour the slab, and the shell goes up in days. What you're buying from us is the part you can't DIY: the engineering.
What does it actually cost, all-in?
Package design target plus your site: land, site work, foundation, and utilities vary too much for anyone to quote honestly without seeing your property. The Design Pack includes a budgeting worksheet with typical ranges by region.
